The 2A3B is an improved version of the 2A3, introduced by Shuguang Tube Factory in 2004; it belongs to the category of directly-heated triode power tubes and was designed specifically for HIFI amplifiers, allowing it to be used as a direct replacement for the traditional 2A3/2A3C tubes.

The vocal sound is sweet and smooth, with delicate mid-frequencies and a natural sound field – the typical characteristics of a \”tubular\” speaker.
